Atlantic Comfort - Heat pumps catalogue 2025

How to distinguish monobloc and split models? Discover our two Air/Water heat pump models – monobloc and split. Despite both ranges deploying thermodynamic solutions, there are crucial differences in how each model is configured. Split heat pumps This model is the most widely used. It includes two units: one outside the home and one inside, powered by hydraulics. Refrigerant circulates between both units. Conversely, the heat exchanger is found inside, in the hydraulics unit, which then supplies hot water to the home’s central heating network and even produces domestic hot water (DHW). Monobloc heat pumps Atlantic’s monobloc heat pumps include an outdoor unit and a hydraulics unit located inside the home. Heat exchange occurs entirely in the outdoor unit, including a fan, compressor and heat exchanger. The circuit inside the outdoor unit is contained in an airtight seal and pre-charged with refrigerant. The water discharged from this unit is already hot enough to supply the home’s central heating system and even produces DHW. How a heat pump works Atlantic’s launched monobloc range provides a “compact” indoor unit model, similar to an almost entirely outdoor monobloc with significant space freed up!
